Stay Hydrated For Summer!

this is a more indepth post like i used to do so hopefully you enjoy!
hey guys.. todays post is all about staying hydrated in the summer..5 different ways and 5 different products. inside, outside.. continue reading and you will understand what i mean;))

``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
1) The most obvious one.. drink liquids!! you are probably thinking.. duh. drink water. but i understand a lot of people don't like water.. but its so so so important to drink a lot of water each day. it helps your skin, your body, and just all around makes you feel better and be healthier. So i have a couple of options for people that don't like regular, plain, boring, tasteless, water.. you can use flavor drops.. like dasani, or mio. Dasani has great flavors like pina colada,
strawberry lemonade, and even strawberry kiwi! You don't need much to flavor a whole bottle of water but you get great flavor and you drink your water and enjoy it!! :)
2) Hydrate your face! This probably sounds weird like whaa hydrate your face? but i pretty much mean moisturize. lol. In the summer we are out in the sun and that drys out our skin, swimming with chlorine definitely drys out the skin and basically any traveling can make your skin dry .. trust me;) So what can you do?! I will give you 2 different ideas for hydrating your skin from the dryness of summer (does that make sense.. didn't think so) 1st. use a face mask! there is facial masks for every type of skin problem, type, ect. anything you have wrong with your skin there is a face mask you can use. trust me. So sometimes you want to go organic and make your own which saves money and really can help and be a fun thing for friends (remember Frooty? my birthday party?:) here is a moisturizing face mask recipe for hydrating dry, parched, summer skin.
Avocado Face Mask for Dry Skin
homeade avocado mask for dry skin!
  • ½ very ripe, soft avocado (a really great moisturizing food item that is used in a lot of facial things!)
¼ cup honey (honey is known for its moisturizing properties that really helps sunburned dry skin!)
all you need to do is mash up the avocado, which is why you need to make sure its a ripe soft one so its easy to mash into a "paste" then you just need to stir in the honey, and apply to your face for 10 minutes and wipe off with a warm washcloth. yay!
Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream2nd- just use a really nice moisturizer with some type of aloe or refreshing ingredient in it! the one on the right of this section of words is by the brand Simple.. which is a really good brand for sensitive skin which is what you usually have in the summer, and is a day cream which is especially good for summer since it has spf in it to protect your face from the sun :p
3- Moisturize your body!! This is important because your body is probably even more in the chlorine, than your face would be and my body, legs, arms, stomach personally get super dry after i swim. so i need a good moisturizer and one i have really been liking for summer is the Vaseline spray and go. I have the "scent" cocoa butter but there is 3 different types, like aloe which is great for burnt skin and there is an original i believe which is called total moisture. They are so easy for summer, and really glowy and mine smells so so good:))
4- your lips! your lips are just like you face and rest of your body.. they get chapped from the sun and could definitely get sun burned which legit sucks, and it definitely can happen!!so what can i do to prevent flaky, peeling, nasty lips??! use a scrub.. duhh
This is like a no brainer to use a lip exfoliator in summer time just so you can apply lipsticks better they go on smoother and your lips dont look like you have a disease.
honey
brown sugar
olive oil/ coconut oil
mix. scrub on lips. lick off. yay.
bout as easy as it gets ;) you can also add different flavorings ect to make it what you want to taste like!!
then after you use your exfoliator you should apply a good spf lipbalm and my favorite for the summer time is one of the baby lips.. select ones have spf but you just need to look on the tube/packaging and you will find out if you are purchasing the right one! you get moisturization (if i spell anything wrong forgive me) protection, and depending a really cute tint of color:) go get chu some! (eleventhgorgeous on youtube)
actually.. im sorry but i only have four. lol this was a fail but hopefully you enjoyed the four tips i have for staying hydrated inside and out during the summer time;)
love
