Not Monday.. Mani Monday!

Hey guys!
I had my nails painted this color for mani monday this week, but decided to add something to it that im really liking.
I saw a video by someone im subscribed to... i cant think of her name right now.. ugh!
but she had nail glitter and stuff she bought from IMATS and i have some but never thought it would work so i busted it out, and put some on.
Not loving the color combo as much as i think it looks cool, but it would look cool with better color selection..

This is a glitter set i got from my local dollar tree.. they come in the caviar type, little rock looking things, glitter, in different sizes ect. They are little midget bottles but they are totally worth the whole dollar you spend to get like 6 glitters.

I must say they are not the most functional packaging, i wish they were a pot form so you could dip your nail in but it is a little jar, so you have to dump. i just spilled it eveyrwhere and my friend and me spilled little caviar  beads all over my room another time. so have a cup underneath you, and you have to find some way to funnel the un used back in.. hard but worth it.

It is a holographic silver/clear glitter, like hexagon type shapes.. so beautiful against the light.. it gives something glitter polish can't give.. i painted a base coat because my nails we already done with the actual color, so while the base coat/ top coat is still wet, you just pour the glitter on, and i like to press it a little, move them around a bit, whatever you want. Then gently put on a top coat of your choice to lock in the glitter.

This style of manicure will not last as long as a regular glitter top coat just because it is loose but it shouldn't just fall off.

If you can't find these specific glitters L.A. Splash cosmetics has some for around $5.00 a pot, which is not the cheapest but they have better packaging.
