Black Friday..

Well Black Friday is coming up and if you don't know what black friday is this is the technical dictionary definition.. :)

Black Friday is the name given to the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. On this day, most major retailers open extremely early, often at 4 am, or earlier, and offer promotional sales to kick off the holiday shopping season, similar to Boxing Day sales in many Commonwealth Nations. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but many non-retail employers also observe this day as a holiday along with Thanksgiving, giving their employees the day off and increasing the number of potential shoppers. It has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005,^[1] although news reports, which at that time were inaccurate,^[2] have described it as the busiest shopping day of the year for a much longer period of time.^[3]

The day's name originated in Philadelphia, where it originally was used to describe the heavy and disruptive pedestrian and vehicle traffic which would occur on the day after Thanksgiving.^[4][5]Use of the term started before 1961 and began to see broader use outside Philadelphia around 1975. Later an alternative explanation began to be offered: that "Black Friday" indicates the point at which retailers begin to turn a profit, or are "in the black".^[4][6]

For many years, it was common for retailers to open at 6:00 am, but in the late 2000s many had crept to 5:00 or even 4:00. This was taken to a new extreme in 2011, when several retailers (including Target, Kohls, Macy's, Best Buy, and Bealls^[7]) opened at midnight for the first time.^{[citation needed]} In 2012, Walmart led several other retailers in announcing it would open its stores at 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day ^[8], prompting calls for a walkout among some workers. ^{[9]  I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THIS.. Well if you took the time to read all of that props to you... 

I personally love black Friday shopping and i think it is so fun to rush around acting like idiots.. and unfortunately this year black Friday is starting Thursday which i think absolutely totally ruins the fun of going..

This year i am thinking of  buying a laptop when they are on super sale, Christmas presents for my family and possibly a present for myself. post to come!

Now black Friday can get quite dangerous so you definitely have to be careful.. Here is some safety tips.

1) Keep your purse or clutch/bag or wallet close to your body and zipped and never unattended in your cart. Try

 to keep everything organized so you know you haven't dropped anything and so if you do have something stolen you know ASAP.

2) Keep one credit card with you so it is easier to find it and you are less susceptible to identity theft if you lose it so you know which one is being used. It is easier to keep track of if you have one credit card compared to 7 different ones where you are fumbling around with them.

3) Have a plan of where you are going before you start off on your trip so you don't get lost and in the "bad part of town, and you can get the best deals before others.

4) If you have been shopping at more than 2 places and you have a couple of small purchases in bags try to make the bags smaller by putting bags inside bags and putting things into one bag so it is easier to keep track of what you have so you don't accidentally forget one in your cart or on the bench by the bathroom.

5) Put your purchases in your trunk so people passing by won't know all the goodies you scored and will not want to steal them and make sure to lock your car and double check before you leave, to make sure no one will be able to access the things you have bought.

6) If you have kids or are bringing a niece or a friend or anyone for that matter make sure to keep them close or stay close to your friend because when the people start running and start a mob you don't want to lose your friend, especially if they are a smaller child so keep them in the cart or hold their hand and if there is a store that people may start a mob try to keep kids out of that.. put them in bed its pretty late anyways.

7) When you are black friday shopping all the 50% off tags and cheap prices will make you want to buy everything because it is a good deal.. even if you may not want them. So keep receipts so you can return things after all of the madness.

8) The types of bags you should bring Black Friday shopping are cross body bags that are hard to pickpocket or bags that have a zipper that is hard to undo or a clutch but make sure to keep it close. i will include pictures in the end to make sure that you have a good purse to take 
with you.


I would NOT recommend wearing yo louis vitton bags that are a big pit of nothingness and have a zipper that opens and you wouldn't know if someone opened it up and crawled inside... im sorry but when you have a big fat deep purse it is hard to find things and is easy to overlook something that you may have dropped.... THINK!!!  and who knows.. it may get dirty. just bring a purse you don't care too much about;)




































This purse is a great option because it is crossbody and has a latch so it will be hard to open without you noticing. --->






If you are wondering i AM going black friday shopping this year with my aunt and for everyone that is going and is going for a big TV or a nice computer make sure to stay safe and make good choices.. i sound like a mom but if you watch the video that is on here you will see that this could get really bad.... :)
