OUR FOOTBALL TEAM IS GOING TO STATE!!!!

Out of 450+ football teams in our state (I really would tell you where me and cheerios live but that is really unsafe, sorry!Also, this is just in like our part so the REALLY huge schools are in a bigger one but we are in a smaller division thing idk) There were 4 left at 7:00 last night, We were the smallest school out of the four, with a town of only 1044 people TOTAL, not just in our high school, this is TOTAL people in our WHOLE town! We played in a town that has 17,000+ people so over 17 times the amount of people we have in our town (but both teams, including us are from about 2 hours away from where we played at)! The team we played didn't come from a HUGE town though, only 2,000 or so people but still, a TINY town winning and going to state?!!! CRAZY!! When i got out of school yesterday, i went home got all my school clothes on (a long sleeve t-shirt and a school blanket for warmth since we are up north and it is FREEZING, i am telling you this because im sure you were so curious as to what i was wearing ;D ) Then we got into my mommas red impala and we were off on our 2 hour drive, we listened to music, and got pumped up for the game! When we got to the field i went and found my friend Brooke, and we were just standing around at a railing in front of the stands in our little gossip circle (as i like to call it whenever there is a group of people in a circle talking about various subjects) and then the game started, we started out doing kind of bad, at the end of the first quarter we were 0 to 7 (i think) then at half time we were 7 to 14, and at the end of the 3rd quarter...we were still 7 to 14.. everybody started loosing a little bit of hope then and one of the big factors to us not getting anymore points was we were on turf without turf shoes, we kept slipping !!!Everybody was hoping and praying we would pull through like we have so many times (Honestly, our boys are amazing, and so dedicated, it helps that we have a good coach)! At about 5 minutes left in the game we were only 14 to 20....One touchdown..One Touchdown!!!! Then, with 2 minutes left in the game.. IT HAPPENED, A TOUCHDOWN!!!!! We were tied!! That much closer to winning, when that touchdown was scored EVERYBODY was standing, screaming, cheering, jumping, crying, you name it!! Then we got a field goal so the score was 23 to 20! By the end of the game the final score was 20 to 30, WE WON!! Everybody was screaming, crying, cheering, jumping, calling people, texting people, running out on the field to congratulate the boys!! Oh my gosh, it was AMAZING! The next game is on Thursday, i cant wait to go see the boys play again!! I will tell you what happens on thursday!! :) Wish the boys luck!!
