I really think that boyfriends are a topic that is easy to talk about but is a hard thing to actually have and act properly when you have one. Now me personally i am not a guy "hoarder" a person who always needs a boyfriend and i almost feel sorry for those people. You should have friends that are by your side so you don't always need a boyfriend and you should be happy with that. I personally think a good time to start having a boyfriend is in high school preferably like 10th 11th grade. Some people will be like that is way too old.." i have a boyfriend now and im only 11 and i love him so much. "Which personally i think is really ridiculous. But when you are older you will actually be able to tell between an actual boyfriend or a person you want to be with and someone you have a "crush" on. I really am not a fan of when you are 13 and 14 years old and you think that your boyfriend is so amazing and you will be together forever and you can only like him and no one else and how it is so serious. (This is froot loop butting in here, just to say in 6th-7th grade Cheerios dated the same guy about 4-5 times..and that was when he still had a lil chub chub...now his 6pack is starting to form a little, which is actually quite impressive) Cheerios- oh whatever.i was dumb and stupid and it wasnt really dating. it was just saying it. which i personally regret!! But not much, just because i know it wasn't real and didn't set me back much!
You will know when you are ready and that is your opinion or your parents when it is ok to have a boyfriend.
I cannot date until i am 16.. and the stupid dating in 6th grade.. wasn't real. not counting it. and i wasn't even allowed to fake it.

So, I unlike almost everybody my age/ older than me.. i have never had a boyfriend, not even a stupid 6th grade cheesy "Love"(Cheerios- i haven't either.. i am still NOT counting it!!!).....c'mon you know exactly what i'm talking about!!! You may be thinking "Wow, this chick must be weird or something..she has never dated ANYONE?!"...No, i'm not weird im just waiting for a person who is mature...or at least it wont be a stupid minimum of 2 day and maximum of 3 month relationship. FYI i HAVE been asked out many-a-times, heck a guy has even asked if he could kiss me...but nope, never said yes. Also, when the guys asked me out, i have liked them but i knew how the "Relationship" would end, so actually i saved myself, hassle and possible heartbreak, right? Well as heartbroken as someone my age can be.
About the whole parents thing that Cheerios mentioned before, i'm pretty sure my parents would be okay with me dating someone because whether they like it or not i am growing up, but one thing that i know will come with a boyfriend is my parents (my parents meaning my dad and relatives ) making jokes about it every chance they get, for me its not a big deal and i can totally laugh about it..my sister on the other hand is like my mom, takes some jokes way too seriously.
I feel like dating someone in my class would be weird because if we broke up on a bad note we would be stuck by each other for a few years because, small towns equal small classes, and small classes equals people who don't like each other stuck with each other.
You know, liking someone sucks horribly yet is the best thing ever..just saying.

ReplyDeleteYou girls are in the most sparkling age of your lives. But it’s also a difficult time! Boys don’t grow up as fast as you do. And you don’t grow up as quickly as you want to! So I have a tip for you: Do not rush anything!
Do everything you want to, as soon as you think you are prepared to! There is no proper age for dating, for having boyfriends or girlfriends. There is no proper age for anything in life. Everyone has its own biologic time.
Remember: the last one to act is the first one to reach their goal! Wait, watch, and grow up. Learn with your own mistakes. Learn with your friends mistakes. Than…. ONLY THAN…. Take a shot!
You only live once… but once is more than enough when you do it properly!
