Peplum- Yay! or Nay!

Todays blog post is going to be on peplum. 


I know that peplum has been a trend off and on for a while, and i just wanted to state my opinions on it.. and where you can find some cute pieces, what body shape it is good for, and blah blah blah.


So lets jump right in..!!!


What is peplum you may ask? (like Froot Loops)
Peplum is a type of style, not like shoes or pants.. it is a type of style to a shirt or a dress.
So lets put it this way.. you have a dress. And you want some ruffles in it. So you take one ruffle and put it all the way around by your waist. 

What body type is best or worst for peplum?
PEAR- If you have this body shape, you need to be careful, because peplum may accentuate your hips, making you look wider, and making your boobs look smaller.
Other body types are mostly OK to wear peplum, especially if you have a straight (no hips) body shape, it will make you look curvier if you want that look.

What is Cheerios opinion on peplum?
i PERSONALLY am not a fan of peplum, i think it looks undone, but if you have an understated peplum it can look quaint and cute.
I think if you have peplum like on your backside, just as an accent, it could make your butt stand out.

I think peplum kind of looks like a cupcake that went over the sides of the wrapper/pan

If you think about it peplum is just a bigger fabricked ruffles.. Am i right?!
